Glenn was just a regular school boy who had just finished his 4th year of high school. It was the end of June and he was relishing the summer and the freedom that it brought.

Glenn had an older brother Jacob who was finishing his 5th year of high school and just completed his exams. Both Glenn and Jacob lived with their parents in a bungalow in the country but that would not be the case for the
next 3 weeks. Their parents had to go to Chile on work placements and so the boys were left home alone from a week until their grandmother returned from holidays and she would stay with them until their parents came home.

The boys were from a well-off family and so had fun whatever the cost. Glenn was 15 and 5′8′‘ with a slim build and brown hair, blue eyes and an attractive face. Jacob was a spitting image of Glenn although taller, 3’' in fact and had brown eyes instead of blue.

Both boys had always enjoyed getting messy in the mud at the bottom of the garden and had a good relationship as brothers. It was July 2nd and mum and dad left in the early hours of the morning. The boys had been left money for food and whatever else they wanted. Both boys were due to go to cricket training at 2pm that day so they were
up at 11am to ensure they were ready and on-time. They had their kit ready and were about to leave when a white van screeched up the driveway and a man and 2 boys jumped out, the boys were of a similar age to Glenn and Jacob. They were shocked and frozen with surprise as the boys grabbed them and threw them in the back of the van with little resistance. The doors were shut and they were left in the darkness to wonder what was happening.

About 40mins later the van came to a halt and the doors were flung open, they were on a farm somewhere. The boys were told to keep quiet as they were lead into a massive outhouse. It was new and had a fancy entrance
hall with lots of door off of it. The boys noticed that there was other boys peering through doors at them and giggling along with a TV playing a messy game show. Glenn and Jacob became less worried at this point. The boys were lead into a side room and told to remove their shoes, socks, t-shirts and hoodies. This left them in shorts and underwear. A short time later the boys were lead in a room with 8 bunk-beds. There were 2 beds free with an array of clothing set out on each. In the corner there was a table and chairs where 10 boys were playing cards. It looked like the boys
were comfortable being there and off to the right was a shower room with 6 showers and toilets. The boys sniggered at the new arrivals and immediately started whispering amongst them and laughing. Set out on Glenn and Jacobs beds was 3 white t-shirts, 2 pairs of white nylon shorts, 2 pairs of briefs, 2 pairs of boxers and a pair of Speedos in navy blue.

The boys were led in a big arena with about 100 seats, a stage and a big wheel on stage. Glenn was taken back stage and told to remove his shorts leaving his tight yellow boxers on show. Jacob was then subsequently taken backstage and told the same; Jacob was a batsman and so was wearing his jockstrap and lycra shorts. The other boys who they saw earlier then filtered in to the seats and Glenn and Jacob were led on stage. An older boy came down with a microphone and introduced himself as Alex. “Now, Glenn and Jacob, I am sure you are wondering what this is, who we are, and why you are in your underwear. Well, I will explain, this is GUNGE CAMP and seated are your fellow gungers, we have noticed you both like getting messy and your wishes will soon be fulfilled. BOYS!” At that point, 3 boys all aged about 14 came out and began to tie Glenn and Jacob to the wheel, one on each side. The boys were in the same white t-shirt and shorts that lay on the boys beds. Jacob and Glenn each had each arm and leg tied to the wheel in a spread-eagle fashion. The boys were vulnerable and began to enjoy it when they saw the trolley wheeled out full with buckets of custard, gravy, beans, mayonnaise and chocolate sauce as well as several trifles and cans of whipped cream. They knew what was coming and enjoyed all the attention.

The host shouted, “Let’s get ’em Messy!!!!” The audience of boys cheered, the residents aged from between 13 and 17 and all had the one thing in common, loved getting messy.

One of the stage hands pressed a button and on a big screen came up Glenn’s name. He then pushed the button again and the screen revealed Trifle. Glenn squirmed as he was about to be gunged. The stage hand each picked up a trifle and walked towards Glenn. The first boy, blonde, skinny and about 14 raised the trifle to Glenn’s face, teased him then plunged the cream, custard, jelly and sponge into his face and the second trifle came from the side and landed on his head then slid down his shoulders and back where it fell to the floor, the next boy, a short boy with a muscular frame and a cheeky look marched right up to Glenn, scooped out the trifle and began to fling it all over him covering him in globs of trifle. Jacob laughed at the mess of his brother and sniggered under his breath, ’that’ll teach him’.

“Your turn Jacob!” the host exclaimed. The button was pushed again revealing gravy, the boys had a 5 gallon tub between them, and they got a jug and poured it over Jacob’s head, arms and face. He went from a tanned body to a dark brown. The boys then poured the gravy over his chest, abs and back, it ran down to his toes, one of the boys grabbed the front of Jacobs lycra shorts to his displeasure and the other 2 boys tipped 2 jugs of gravy down, the gravy was cold and Jacob shrieked in shock but also concealed enjoyment, it formed a pool in his shorts and slowly dripped through the material and onto the floor.

Again, it was Glenn’s turn, this time beans and custard were selected, Again, two massive tubs of beans and custard awaited a body to cover, the stage hands spun Glenn through 180 degrees so that he was upside down, the custard was tipped over his feet and down his legs and body, the weight of the custard required 2 of the boys to hoist it and pour it. Glenn quickly turned yellow from head to toe as the custard worked its way down his body. The beans were next, Glenn was rotated upright again and pleaded them to stop but he was really enjoying it as he squeaked a cute smile as he asked them to stop. The boys laughed and began splattering him in baked bean turning him from yellow to orange. Glenn began to enjoy it a bit too much as a keen bulge began to form so to calm him down the boys decided to tip the remained beans down the front of his boxers which had now become orange and began to sag and the weight of the beans pulled them down, not wanting to embarrass him on his first day, the blonde boy emptied out some beans and hoisted them up vigorously, crushing beans and his bits, Glenn let out a yelp followed by a sigh as he ceased to wedgie him.

Jacob’s turn, Jacob, like Glenn enjoyed it and was about to get covered in chocolate sauce and mayonnaise but Jacob began to shout and scream as he claimed he was allergic to Mayonnaise, the stage hands kindly accepted and began to turn on the audience and each other, showering them in mayonnaise, but, back to Jacob, the Choco sauce. It was tipped over his head and shoulders making him blind as he could only see chocolate when he opened his eyes. Jacob felt a tug on his lycra shorts and realized they were being removed, lubricated by the gravy. Jacob was left almost naked, just in his gravy soaked jockstrap. No doubt Jacob was embarrassed as Glenn cackled at him from his right. The chocolate sauce was then poured in the jockstrap turning it brown and Jacob brown.

The boys were untied and then handed a can of cream each and told that the loser would be the one with the least cream on the opponent. “Go!” they began to wrestle, trying to find grip on each other to pin them down, Glenn won that battle managing to grab Jacob’s Jock waistband and hoisting it up into the air, Jacob mercifully surrendered to the ground where Glenn covered him in cream, Jacob had dropped his can and so lost almost immediately.

It was the end of the gunging and both Glenn, with his boxers filled with beans and hoisted up his bum and twisted round, and Jacob with his gravy soaked shorts over his shoulder and his body covered chocolate were led to the showers to clean up. Both Glenn and Jacob were ecstatic yet still in the dark of what that was all about and where they were.

Shortly after they got changed into the clothes left for them, Alex, the host, came in and sat them down. “Jacob and Glenn, you are in safe hands at Gunge camp, you will be returned for your grandmother returning home and looked after until then. You are here to have fun and enjoy some freedom and gunge free of charge!”

Jacob said, “How did you know we like gunge? How do you know my grandmother is away at the moment? How do you know our names?” Alex butted in, “Don’t worry Jacob, your friends told us and they will be joining us later this week…” and smiled, then left the room and Glenn and Jacob to get to know the other boys.

Little did Jacob know that there was a forfeit for losing his brotherly dual…
